The Garden Suite offers something different in South Lakeland, whether you want to walk, enjoy the scenery or just relax. With luxurious accommodation and a beautiful setting in the heart of the Lake district National park, you can be sure of a fantastic break. Set in its own self contained building surrounded by a beautiful garden, the Garden suite is tastefully decorated, and furnished to the highest standard. Visitors may also enjoy the private terrace which overlooks the garden, rolling fields and Cumbria Fells.
The Garden Suite is ideally situated in Newby Bridge at the foot of Lake Windermere, England's largest lake, from where you can easily visit the high fells and the popular destinations of Bowness, Ambleside and Windermere town. You are a short drive from the honeypot village of Hawkshead, the home of Beatrix Potter, and very close to Cartmel and the coast at Grange-over-Sands. You can enjoy the many shops, restaurants and activities on and around the lake and, of course, the fells and low level walks are second to none.
Guests are encouraged to relax in the wonderful, calm setting. Breakfast is served either in your room or outside on your terrace. Your butler's pantry will have complimentary wine, beer and water, and you will be greeted with a welcoming tray of china, tea and homemade cake. | "We have returned from the most perfect stay in the Garden Suite. Pam and Geoff are lovely, generous and entertaining hosts. The pictures on the website are a true representation of what the suite is like (and we liked what we say on the internet), but somehow its even better than the pictures when you get there. Your own suite, complete privacy, everything you could possibley need in your room (butlers pantry, molten brown toiletries, and 'turn down' at night with the appropriately themed chocolate easter bunnies!), all the benefits of privacy, but the attention of Pam and Geoff when you need it. Nothing is too much for them. The breakfasts were gorgeous - were else can you get your breakfast served in your own room, at a time that suits you - and you dont even have to get out of your pj's if you dont want to! Added to this was the experience of bottle feeding the baby lambs.....What can we say - we will definitely be back...and it is almost with reluctance we are writing this. As others have said before - you deserve all the success you want with the Garden Suite - but somehow, now that we have found you, we want to keep you a secret to ourselves." |
